Blog Post Settings

The settings associated with your blog posts are crucial in optimizing their visibility and accessibility. Understanding how to configure these settings can help improve search engine optimization (SEO), enhance the blog post's title, and create user-friendly URLs.

The link is the unique part of the blog post's URL that identifies it. It often reflects the title or a shortened version of it. If you want to modify the link, locate the field where it is displayed and edit it accordingly. You can edit it to make it more SEO-friendly.

Publication date

The publication date is the date that appears on your blog post for readers to see. This date controls when your blog post appears in chronological order on your blog and in feeds. You can set this to any date you want - whether in the past, present or future. This is useful when you want to backdate a post or schedule it to appear as if it was published on a specific date, separate from when you actually published it.

Author(s)

Authors are the people credited with writing the blog post. You can assign one or multiple authors to each blog post. Each author's name will be displayed on the blog post along with their profile picture and readers can click on the author's name to see other posts they've written. Having multiple authors is useful for collaborative posts or when you want to give credit to multiple contributors. At least one author must be assigned to every blog post.

Cover image

The cover image is the image that appears when your blog post is shared on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or in messaging apps. When someone shares a link to your blog post, this cover image will be displayed alongside the post title and description in the preview. Having an attractive, relevant cover image can significantly increase engagement when your content is shared. The cover image is optional, but highly recommended for better social media presence.
